American Credit Counselors, Inc., (ACCI) is a certified 501(C)3 credit-counseling agency. ACCI is licensed, bonded and insured. Founded in 1999, ACCI has helped thousands of Americans pay off millions of dollars in unsecured debt. As a not-for-profit, community service organization, ACCI offers professional and confidential educational and debt management services to all Americans at low or no cost.

Our mission is to help Americans in financial difficulty through a comprehensive program of education, counseling, budget and financial analysis and low cost debt management programs. We understand that there are many reasons an individual or family will experience financial strain, and we treat each client with friendliness, compassion, and with your best interests at heart.

Our educational initiative is aimed at showing Americans how to avoid and overcome financial problems by managing cash flow, using credit wisely, reducing unnecessary expenses, sticking to a budget, and making regular contributions to a saving plan.

ACCI is based in Boca Raton, Florida. Our board of directors is comprised of financial advisors, businesspeople and community activists. ACCI is a member of the American Association of Debt Management Organizations (AADMO), and is certified by the Council on Accreditation (COA), the most rigorous independent certification organization in the US. ACCI meets or exceeds the best practices guidelines of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), a highly respected certification association and industry watchdog.
