You have the capability to change your education level, attitude, and your habits. It may be difficult to adjust to making change, since we develop habits over a long period of time, but it can be done if you plan.

First and foremost, you should change how you think; this will result in a change in the way you act. Implement some tips on how to save money. But before you can save, you must understand the change process.

Use this process to implement a change:

  • Take a look at your habit and then think about why you want to change it.
  • Decide to make the desired change.
  • Use a journal to write down the change you are making. This will bring your desire to change from the theoretical to a more concrete form and will serve as a reminder to you of what you are working towards.
  • Once you have made a decision, don’t go back on your decision.
  • Make a dedication to the change. Focus on the improved attitude and habits that you want to acquire. Have patience; it will probably take at least a month to create a new habit.
